We designed and built a tweet powered marquee light installation in the shape of a giant roaster.
Everyone’s grumpy in the morning right? Well, Quebec breakfast chain Bon Matin wanted to change that. In order to introduce new customers to their wares, they built a breakfast mobile they could roll out in Montreal. We were asked to help brighten the setup with a digital je ne sais quoi to generate smiles and traction on social media. Over coffees, put our live event expertise to work.
If you’re familiar with Bon Matin, you’ll know their logo incorporates a large rooster. We started there and designed a twitter interface, connected wirelessly to lights embedded in a giant rooster marquee, perched atop the breakfast-mobile.
While customers enjoyed breakfast samples, they were encouraged to tweet about the experience using the hashtag #bonmatintoutelemonde. As they did, the rooster would flash a sunny welcome and participants were entered to win some tasty prizes. Goodbye grumpy mornings.
