Casa di Mama
Pixelpusher worked with Dr. Oetker to develop a downloadable app that would turn their pizza boxes into virtual football fields.
Pizza goes with sports. That much we know. Usually however, that pizza comes in the form of a phone call, followed by a disheveled deliveryman in a hat. In order to challenge that perception for Dr. Oetker, Toronto agency Launch asked us to think outside of the [pizza] box and create something memorable to heat up awareness of their Casa di Mama brand of frozen pies. Challenge accepted.
Building on our experience in Augmented Reality, Pixelpusher worked with Dr. Oetker to develop a downloadable app that would turn their pizza boxes into virtual football fields. Once downloaded and opened on a smartphone, the app allowed football fans to play a series of football-themed 3D games in five challenging modes including field goal kicking, target practice, races against time and more. Mmm. Smell that? Smells like football!
