Rainbows don’t just make a great Halloween costume or a funny YouTube video but also a great advertising campaign. Skittles’ hugely successful and laugh-out-loud funny Touch the Rainbow campaign took the online video world by storm.
BBDO asked Pixelpusher to build an irreverent masthead to match Skittles amazing campaign on YouTube. The interactive YouTube masthead we produced allows users to browse, view and interact with characters in the ads using their fingers on the computer screen. Pixelpusher included playful animations and navigation for the masthead and seamlessly integrated it on the Skittle YouTube channel.
The masthead videos still get plenty of exposure with over 2 million views so far and a Gold Lion win at Cannes. Go rainbows!
