Ever find a fabulous little number at your local Winners that you wanted to share with your friends? Up until recently you would have had to take a picture and email it to your bestie for approval. Now you can simply download the Winners app, create a profile and share away!
Winners’ biggest problem is an ever changing inventory which makes it nearly impossible to effectively advertise their goods. Luckily their biggest advantage is a loyal customer base that is nearly fanatical about finding and sharing deals. So, we made it easy for them to do just that.
We created the Fab Finder iPhone app along with a matching website that allows Winners’ customers to upload images of their Fab Finds to an online community. The Fab Finder app uses geo-location to tag images with store location and customers can use the app to find the store nearest them. Users of the app can create profiles, a list of favorite products, make comments on finds and enter Winners contests. On the backend we provided Winners with a CMS tool that allows them to moderate the community of users, administer contests and update their content.
The Fab Finder app is crowd sourced advertising at its best. Winners customers provide up to the minute stock inventory information from their local store to a larger customer base! The site and app were an instant success with over 2000 downloads in it’s first week and a thriving community of active users submitting finds daily.
