The Fab Finder app leveraged Winner’s loyal customer base to publicize deals they found themselves in-store.
Winners’ had a problem. Unlike other national retailers with product lines set and stocked months in advance, Winners’ inventory is updated on the fly. Their ever-changing inventory allows for amazing deals, but makes it almost impossible to effectively promote any one particular product. What to do?
Sharing + Loyalty = Fab Finds! The Fab Finder app leveraged Winner’s loyal customer base to publicize deals they found themselves in-store. Using a geolocator to tag visitor-generated images with store locations, Fab Finds made it easy to share Winner’s purchases and deals with friends. The app let Winner’s fans create profiles, make lists of their favourite items, make comments on friend’s purchases and enter online contests. On the backend, a customized CMS allows Winners’ to moderate the community, administer contests and update their own content.
